Michelle is a multi-skilled director and editor with an international perspective and a specialism in telling stories from the margins. She is currently a director at Mortal Coil Media and helped found the UNEP-supported channel green.tv.
Her most recent documentary focused on coerced sterilization in the Czech Republic, and she has directed films for the United Nations in Cambodia and Tunisia. She is working on upcoming projects in India and Slovakia.
Her work has been broadcast by the BBC, ITV, Al Jazeera, CNBC and CNN, screened at London's IMAX, NFT and Curzon cinemas, and at many international festivals. She has also made films for organisations including Adidas, Apple, Fairtrade Foundation, Greenpeace, UNICEF and WWF.
Michelle has a Masters in Cultural Studies from Goldsmiths University and is a member of Esodoc - the European Union's Media Plus programme for professional filmmakers.
